Fall 2021 In Person Teaching Webinars

Wednesday, October 27 Webinar

The focus of this webinar was on how instructors can support students who are in isolation, in quarantine, or otherwise absent from class. Briefly, the CFDE recommends that all instructors plan ahead for how to handle student absences, especially related to exams. As a reminder, Emory wants anyone who has COVID symptoms to stay home from class (instructors included!). Our panelists will discuss ways Emory’s schools support students in isolation or quarantine, and advice for instructors on supporting those absent students.

Monday, September 20 Webinar

The focus of this webinar was on contact tracing procedures and what we’re learning from Emory’s contact tracing data. Thus far the primary source of infection at Emory is off-campus transmission, so please remind your students to strictly follow COVID-19 protocols and carefully follow best health practices both on and off campus: wearing a face mask, staying home when sick, gathering outdoors when possible, and washing hands regularly.
