Zoom Engagement Drop-in Hours

Students are back and classes have started! Any last-minute questions about Zoom class engagement tips or tools? We’ve got you covered!
For the next two weeks, the CFDE is offering Drop-In Working Hours. If you are teaching and have run into snags, stop in and speak with a member of our Learning Design & Technology team. Each session will start with a quick 5-10 minute recap of a tool, and the rest of the time will be for questions or testing things out. Specialists will be there to work with you in your own Zoom session if needed. Feel free to come and work with your camera off and ask questions as they come up.

Group work is great for building community and student engagement, but takes more thought and planning to facilitate this online. Stop by for some quick tips about setting up and managing groups in Zoom or using collaborative tools like shared documents.
