The Feast of Words Celebration of Emory Faculty Authors and Editors of Books, held on February 1, 2016, honored 126 book titles published in 2015.

A few highlights:

  • This year’s list totals 126 titles. This number is up 26 titles from last year
  • A total of 109 authors and/or volume editors are represented. Fifteen of them are listed more than once—for multiple titles published in 2015.
  • Emory College of Arts and Sciences faculty are represented on the list 62 times.
  • The School of Medicine faculty are represented 26 times.
  • The School of Law faculty are represented 20 times.
  • Candler School of Theology faculty are represented 13 times.
  • Oxford College faculty are represented 3 times
  • Public health and business are represented two times each, and nursing once.
  • Also represented are the Center for Ethics, the Carlos Museum, two University Distinguished Professors, and the Emory Center for Digital Scholarship.
  • Four of the projects are digital-first or digital-only.
  • The emeriti faculty are represented on the list 13 times – the highest ever since the CFDE began compiling this list 12 years ago.
